Reviewed the work products of the previous consultant including the initial <br /> implementation support assessment and recommendations <br /> • Tower structural analyses • Presented the findings and recommendations to the County Administrator and <br /> Project Reference County Board <br /> Lisa Hughes FE conducted a coverage assessment and produced a set of maps for both <br /> Deputy County Manager mobile and portable subscriber units depicting major geographical landmarks and <br /> 217 East Willow St. the area topography, including scale,color schemes, highway/road data, <br /> Yadkinville, NC 27055 jurisdictional boundaries,and desired performance characteristics. <br /> 336-679-4200(o) <br /> Ihughes@yadkincountync.gov FE provided the following services to support the procurement of the Yadkin <br /> County radio system. <br /> • Develop technical specifications to serve as the basis for an RFP for vendors <br /> to submit consistent proposals and to be verifiable through acceptance testing <br /> • Updated the technical specifications based on County review and comments <br /> and submitted a final version to be used in a competitive RFP <br /> • Reviewed the vendor proposal selected by the County,assisted the County <br /> with contract negotiations,and provided support for technical issues <br /> FE assisted the County in resolving radio and microwave(MNI)vendor <br /> implementation issues,oversaw the vendor's punch list development and <br /> resolution process,identified vendor performance issues,and made appropriate <br /> recommendations to the County. <br /> FE conducted tower mapping and tower structural analysis services to create a <br /> tower mapping report that the County will use to model a new tower. <br /> Results and Benefits <br /> FE was engaged by the County to review and continue the work of another <br /> consultant and complete the procurement and implementation of a new system. <br /> The County is very satisfied with the execution of these services,the contract with <br /> the radio system vendor,and the implementation of the system. <br /> Copyright Protected Do Not Duplicate 21 u <br />
