To facilitate the <br /> • Provide program procurement process, FE developed an evaluation matrix for ranking the vendors' <br /> management and IV&V technical proposals,conducted the vendor pre-bid conference,reviewed vendor <br /> services questions,and prepared the responses and RFP addenda. <br /> • Rebanding program FE evaluated new vendor technical proposals in accordance with the approved <br /> management evaluation matrix,processed the vendors'cost proposals,combined the technical <br /> • Low voltage systems and cost proposals to rank the vendor proposals,and recommended a compliant <br /> design and implementation vendor to the county. <br /> oversight for Admin Bldg <br /> FE also provided program management and Independent Validation and <br /> Project Reference Verification(IV&V)activities for all phases of the program,including assistance in <br /> Mr.Warren Lee license applications for 800 MHz and 6 GHz frequencies for the microwave system. <br /> Director of Emergency During the implementation phase, FE coordinated the Installation and <br /> Management Implementation Oversight Plan with the installation and equipment vendors'plans. <br /> New Hanover County This detailed oversight plan guided FE to oversee and evaluate the implementation <br /> Department of Emergency of each site(for both radio stem and microwave installation)and the dispatch <br /> Management center. It also listed validation criteria for items such as coverage, subscriber use, <br /> 230 Market Place Drive system and equipment programming and optimization,system simulcast operation <br /> Suite 115 and system cutover for our engineers to use for each other areas. <br /> Wilmington, NC 28403 FE also provided program management and technical assistance for the county's <br /> 910-798-6900(office) 800 MHz rebanding as well as design and implementation oversight for low <br /> 910-798-6904(fax) voltage systems in the County Administration Building. <br /> wlee@nhcgov.com <br /> Results and Benefits <br /> The 800 MHz P25 countywide system is currently operational and meets New <br /> Hanover County's requirements for a reliable first responder network. <br /> Copyright Protected Do Not Duplicate 20 c+ <br />
