Hillsborough Planning Board – Appointment <br />The Board considered making an appointment to the Hillsborough Planning Board. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs to <br />appoint the following to the Hillsborough Planning Board: <br /> <br />• Position 2 Lisa Frazier Hillsborough ETJ / County position - Second Full Term ending <br />10/31/2021 <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />12. Closed Session <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Rich to go <br />into closed session at 8:59 p.m. for the purposes of: <br /> <br />“To discuss the County’s position and to instruct the County Manager and County Attorney on <br />the negotiating position regarding the terms of a contract to purchase real property,” NCGS § <br />143-318.11(a)(5). <br /> <br />“Pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(3) "to consult with an attorney retained by the Board in order <br />to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board.” <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />RECONVENING INTO REGULAR SESSION <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs to <br />reconvene into regular session at 9:17 p.m. <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />14.
