2 <br />NCDOT has investigated these requests (please refer to attached Secondary Road Addition <br />Reports) and has submitted the petitions to the Board of Commissioners for its review and <br />approval. The Board must take an administrative action to approve the petitions to NCDOT in <br />order for NCDOT to add Jomali Drive (extension of SR 1642), Zapata Lane and Tanya Drive <br />(extension of SR 1448) to the State Secondary Road System, and accept maintenance <br />responsibilities. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact associated with this item. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the requests to add <br />Jomali Drive (extension), Zapata Lane and Tanya Drive (extension) to the State Secondary Road <br />System. <br />
