Alcoholic Beverage Control Board —Appointment <br /> 24 The Board considered making an appointment to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 A motion was made by Commissioner Rich, seconded by Commissioner Marcoplos to <br /> 27 nominate Marcus Wilhelm to this position <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Commissioner Rich said their boards and commissions need new people, and to not <br /> 30 keep recycling the same people. She said Mr. Wilhelm is a business owner, and has <br /> 31 knowledge that would make him a great addition to this board. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 VOTE: Ayes, 2 (Commissioner Rich and Commissioner Marcoplos); Nays, 5 (Chair Dorosin, <br /> 34 Commissioner McKee, Commissioner Burroughs, Commissioner Price, and Commissioner <br /> 35 Jacobs). <br /> 36 <br /> 37 A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Burroughs to <br /> 38 appoint <br /> 39 Position - 5 Elizabeth Carter At-Large position - Partial Term ending 06/30/2019 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Commissioner Price said the board had vetted Ms. Carter, and she has been an active <br /> 42 community member. <br /> 43 Commissioner Burroughs said the voters have vetted Ms. Carter many times, and that <br /> 44 offers added confidence. <br /> 45 Commissioner Jacobs said Ms. Carter would also fill the long tradition of having a school <br /> 46 board member on this board. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 VOTE: Ayes, 5 (Chair Dorosin, Commissioner McKee, Commissioner Burroughs, <br /> 49 Commissioner Price, and Commissioner Jacobs); Ayes, 2 (Commissioner Rich and <br /> 50 Commissioner Marcoplos) <br />
