All <br /> clinicians receive weekly group supervision and individual supervision as needed, <br /> according to client load and level of licensure. ATI therapists and interns have a <br /> combined 50+ years of experience working with newcomers, and receive annual <br /> training in multicultural competencies. In addition to this extensive clinical experience <br /> and training, the ED holds a doctorate in expressive arts therapy, with dissertation <br /> research focused on refugee mental health. Research on newcomer programming is <br /> conducted in collaboration with various universities including UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC- <br /> Greensboro, Duke University, Lesley University, and other community-based agencies. <br /> c) What efforts do you make to seek feedback about your program from your target population <br /> (e.g. survey, evaluations, etc.?) <br /> Beyond the research evaluations ATI conducts every year to monitor the mental health <br /> and social functioning of our clients, ATI also surveys teachers, school staff, and <br /> newcomer clients about their experiences with the program.
