(DBA: The Art Therapy Institute) <br /> Program Name: Newcomers Art Therapy Program <br /> Funding Award: $3555 <br /> Outline how the agency will spend Orange County's funding award. <br /> Expense Description Amount <br /> Clinical compensation for licensed art therapists $2000 <br /> Supplies and equipment(art supplies) $505 <br /> Cultural trainin s for staff $250 <br /> Interpretation costs $500 <br /> Research and evaluation of program $300 <br /> TOTAL $3555 <br /> Program Services <br /> Outline the critical services(activities)the agency will employ to attain the Anticipated Outcomes below,by June 30,2019. <br /> • ATI clinicians will run one local art therapy group for refugees either in the schools or <br /> community depending on need. This group will last for 20 hours (1-hour long group for 20 <br /> sessions,or a 2-hour long group for 10 sessions). <br /> • ATI will spend approximately $25/hour-long group session on high quality art supplies, totaling <br /> $505 over the course of the funding period. <br /> • ATI will invite in cultural interpreters/cultural brokers to train ATI staff in working with <br /> culturally-diverse,refugee communities. <br /> • ATI will pay for 10 hours of interpretation costs related to this program(including phone calls to <br /> refugee adults/parents/clients, translation of written clinical materials, and home visits to families <br /> as needed). <br /> • ATI will put $300 of the funding towards research and evaluation efforts to assess the program <br /> and make recommendations for further improvement as needed.
