Outreach Process <br />Advertising the Outreach Meetings <br />The advertisements requested that citizens attend at least one of the seven township <br />meetings to listen to Staffs ideas regarding changes to the Land Use Element of the <br />Orange County Comprehensive Plan and to offer insight and comments to improve its <br />update process. The planning department used five different medias to advertise for its <br />seven township meetings. <br />1. Newspaper Advertisements (see Appendix A for a sample) <br />2. Posted Bulletins (see Appendix B) <br />3. Direct Mailings <br />4. E -mails <br />5. Public Announcements <br />NEWSPAPER ADVERTISEMENTS <br />The planning department ran advertisements for the seven township meetings in <br />the three local newspapers listed below in Table 2.
