a, Foster Care Donations -donated funds totaling $2,000 from citizens to help sponsor the <br />needs of a foster care child, such as meals with parents, hair cuts, and field trips, This <br />budget amendment provides for the receipt of these donated funds (See Attachment 1, <br />column #2) <br />b. General Assistance Donations -donated funds totaling $750 from citizens to help with <br />special needs of clients, including senior citizens. This budget amendment provides for <br />the receipt of these donated funds. (See Attachment 1, column #2) <br />Department on Aging <br />3. The Department on Aging has received additional funds for the current fiscal year for the <br />following programs: <br />a, Community Alternatives Program -additional Medicaid reimbursements totaling $10,600 <br />to cover the costs of nursing aide services for homebound citizens, This budget <br />amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, <br />column #3) <br />b. Case Assistance -additional funds totaling $5,750 received from the Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant to help offset the Senior Times publication costs, This <br />budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds, (See Attachment 1, <br />column #3) <br />c, Adult Day Care -additional funds totaling $1,675 through the Home and Community <br />Care Block Grant earmarked for Adult Day Health Services as a result of a $5,00 per day <br />increase in the reimbursement rate. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of <br />these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, column #3) <br />d. Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) -during the course of the fiscal year, RSVP <br />has collected additional contributions from its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) <br />program, These contributions have surpassed the budgeted revenue by $1,144 for FY <br />2004-05, and will be used to purchase an LCD projector for volunteer training, <br />recruitment, and recognition, This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these <br />donated funds, (See Attachment 1, column #3) <br />Health Department <br />4, The Health Department has received additional funds totaling $840 through a reallocation of <br />funds from the Center far Disease Control to be used in the Department's tuberculosis <br />program, These funds will be used for additional training for the nurses in charge of the <br />tuberculosis program. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional <br />funds. (See Attachment 1, column #4) <br />Soccer Superfund Capital Project Ordinance <br />5. At the regular meeting on May 3, 2005, the BOCC decided to allocate between two projects <br />the $1,025,000 remaining from 2001 voter-approved Recreation & Park Bonds for the <br />
