ol <br />6. Ethnic: (history of Hogan family who were African American ? ? ?) <br />C. Scenic Quality: <br />Is the route strikingly distinct and offering a most memorable visual <br />experience? YES <br />If yes, please give supporting information: This beautiful road twists and <br />turns through meadows, upland forests, ponds, rolling hills, streams, <br />viewsheds, farms and pastures. Due to the curving nature of the road, <br />the natural views of the landscape are distinct moments that change as the <br />route turns a corner and gives a person yet another, different view. <br />After crossing New Hope Road, one breaks into a beautiful stretch bounded <br />on the left and right by a family farm owned by Don Collins. Part of the <br />Collins farm has been developed into a large lot subdivision named Stone <br />Currie, and much of the scenic view shed of that portion of the land has <br />been carefully preserved. <br />D.
