Minutes <br />The Board approved the minutes from October 9 and 16, 2018 as submitted by the Clerk to the <br />Board. <br />b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br />property tax values for two taxpayers with a total of two bills that will result in a reduction of <br />revenue in accordance with NCGS. <br />c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br />values for seventeen taxpayers with a total of twenty-seven bills that will result in a reduction of <br />revenue in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. <br />d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br />The Board considered ten untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br />taxation for ten bills for the 2018 tax year. <br /> <br />9. County Manager’s Report <br />Bonnie Hammersley said there is a map at the Commissioners’ places and an <br />informational meeting on the TIP Project No. I-3306A: Proposed Widening of I-40 from I-85 to <br />the Durham County Line in Orange County will take place on November 5th at Southern Human <br />Services Center. <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said on November 8th there will be a BOCC work session at <br />Southern Human Services Center. <br /> <br />10.
