A person who wishes to contest a decision of the Board of Health shall <br />have a right of appeal to the district court having jurisdiction within 30 <br />days after the date of the decision. <br /> <br />XII. Annual Review of the Health Director <br />The Board will annually review the performance of the Orange County Health <br />Director using the process detailed in the Board of Health Policy and Procedure <br />Manual, Section III, B.d. Annual Performance Review Process for Health Director. <br /> <br />XIII. Compliance with North Carolina Law <br />In conducting its business, the Board shall comply with all applicable North Carolina <br />laws, including but not limited to open meetings laws, public records laws, and the <br />laws setting forth the responsibilities and duties of local boards of health. To assist <br />the Board in compliance, the local health director shall maintain a current copy of <br />relevant North Carolina General Statutes and make them available to Board members <br />on request. <br /> <br />
