Efland-Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management Plan Update 16 <br />The Board conducted a public hearing, review, and made a determination on the Efland-17 <br />Buckhorn-Mebane Access Management Plan (E-B-M AMP) to continue the public hearing at a 18 <br />later date. 19 <br /> 20 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs 21 <br />for the Board to open the public hearing. 22 <br /> 23 <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS 24 <br /> 25 <br />Commissioner Jacobs suggested that when this item comes back to ask the Planning 26 <br />staff to tell the BOCC how the changes will be implemented. 27 <br /> 28 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner 29 <br />Marcoplos to continue the public hearing until February 5, 2019. 30 <br /> 31 <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS 32 <br /> 33 <br />6. Regular Agenda 34 <br /> 35 <br />a. Unified Animal Control Ordinance Amendments 36 <br />The Board considered approval of amendments to the Unified Animal Control Ordinance 37 <br />and adoption of the Resolution of Amendment Amending Chapter 4 of the Orange County Code 38 <br />of Ordinances, in order to primarily clarify issues identified by the Orange County Animal 39 <br />Services Advisory Board and County Attorney’s Office and authorize the Chair to sign. 40 <br />Bob Marotto, Animal Services Director, said Anne Marie Tosco, County Attorney’s 41 <br />Office, has made many specific revisions from the Oct. 16th meeting. He said the intent of 42 <br />these amendments was to clarify several issues that had become apparent in the ordinance as 43 <br />it was applied after its adoption in 2016.
