Property Tax Releases/Refunds 7 <br />The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax 8 <br />values for seventeen taxpayers with a total of twenty-seven bills that will result in a reduction of 9 <br />revenue in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. 10 <br />d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion 11 <br />The Board considered ten untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem 12 <br />taxation for ten bills for the 2018 tax year. 13 <br /> 14 <br />9. County Manager’s Report 15 <br />Bonnie Hammersley said there is a map at the Commissioners’ places and an 16 <br />informational meeting on the TIP Project No. I-3306A: Proposed Widening of I-40 from I-85 to 17 <br />the Durham County Line in Orange County will take place on November 5th at Southern Human 18 <br />Services Center. 19 <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said on November 8th there will be a BOCC work session at 20 <br />Southern Human Services Center. 21 <br /> 22 <br />10. Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool – Appointment/Reassignment 28 <br />The Board considered making reassignments to the Animal Services Hearing Panel 29 <br />Pool. 30 <br /> 31 <br />REASSIGNMENT of positions within the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool. Amanda 32 <br />Schwoerke was appointed to the Animal Services Advisory Board in June 2018 and to the 33 <br />Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool in March of 2017. The Town of Carrboro position is 34 <br />currently vacant and Michelle Walker is a Town of Carrboro resident.
