1.1.6 Si500 Configuration(s) (if applicable)
The Si500 requires its own configuration file (similar to a radio template). The configuration
file is created in Radio Management using the data provided in the Pre-deployment
Questionnaire.
1.1.7 Radio Subscriber Configuration (if applicable)
APX radio subscriber configuration is used to ensure that the existing APX subscribers will
operate with the Si device. The APX radios will be evaluated and updated to the correct
firmware and programming options that allow for operation with the Si Video Speaker
Microphone.
If the Si500 will be used as a speaker microphone (either Bluetooth paired or wired) in
conjunction with a compatible subscriber radio, the subscriber’s Firmware and/or Feature
Set may need to be updated. The Customer will provide subscriber model, firmware, and
flashcode information so that the fleet’s compatibility can be evaluated. The Motorola
Solutions field engineer will recommend and required updates.
The subscriber template(s) may also require modifications.
