I have worked <br />in many states and counties on economic development issues and see both sides from the <br />business owner as well as the community and citizen angle. I hold a BA and a MA in Education, <br />but my work experience has been business, income growth, and development. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />The work I do on a daily basis is working with business to expand and grow. I see a county like <br />a business. It has to be diverse, stable, and consistently attracting not only sounds development <br />opportunities, but it must also be balanced with intelligent choices that protect the community <br />and support the citizens with quality jobs and opportunities for all skill levels.
