Attachment B

From: Autumn Cox [mailto:acox@tjcog.org]
Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2018 2:07 PM
To: Donna Baker; Thom Freeman
Cc: Max Mason; John Roberts
Subject: RE: RE: Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee
Donna, If you could please send the information to Chair Dorosin about the number of vacancies for the Orange ACH CAC. If he has any questions or wants to discuss things further, Max and I can come meet with him. Autumn Cox , Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman For US Mail: 4307 Emperor Blvd., Suite 110, Durham, NC 27703 (o) 919-558-9401/ (f) 919-998-8101 acox@tjcog.org / www.tjcog.org

From: Autumn Cox [mailto:acox@tjcog.org]
Sent: Wednesday, September 05, 2018 11:26 AM
To: Donna Baker; Thom Freeman
Cc: Max Mason
Subject: RE: RE: Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee

I also cover Chatham County, and the CAC is a Joint Committee. It is a smaller
group because they do not have as many buildings to cover. Johnston County is
more comparable in size (licensed buildings) and they also have a joint
committee. I am unsure what it would look like for Orange, but it is something
that I will mention to both Max and Vibeke so we can brainstorm to see if we
think it would be beneficial to transition to a joint committee. Did the attorney
mention the reason or benefits for possibly moving to a joint committee?

Thank you!

4
