Application for North Carolina Education Lottery Proceeds for Chapel Hill — Carrboro <br /> 19 City Schools (CHCCS) and Contingent Approval of Budget Amendment #2-A Related <br /> 20 to CHCCS Capital Protect Ordinances <br /> 21 The Board approved an application to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction <br /> 22 (NCDPI) to release proceeds from the NC Education Lottery account related to FY 2018-19 <br /> 23 debt service payments for Chapel Hill — Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS), and approved Budget <br /> 24 Amendment#2-A (amended School Capital Project Ordinances), contingent on the NCDPI's <br /> 25 approval of the application. <br /> 26 k. North Carolina Governor's Highway Safety Program: Orange County Sheriff's Office <br /> 27 Traffic Safety Protect and Approval of Budget Amendment#2-113 <br /> 28 The Board adopted a resolution, incorporated by reference, accepting federal funding for traffic <br /> 29 safety projects for the Sheriff's Office; authorize the Chair to sign the Resolution; and approved <br /> 30 Budget Amendment#2-B for receipt of the funds. <br /> 31 I. County Manager's Report <br /> 37 Bonnie Hammersley said the environmental impact statement discussion will be on the <br /> 38 November 8th work session. <br /> 39 Bonnie Hammersley said next Thursday, October 25th the Board has a joint meeting <br /> 40 with Carrboro. <br /> 41 Bonnie Hammersley said the Economic Development Summit scheduled for <br /> 42 Wednesday, October 17th has changed locations, due to a scheduling conflict, and will now be <br /> 43 at the WCHL radio studios at University Place. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 46 John Roberts said the General Assembly directed local governments to provide a guide <br /> 47 to all ordinances that provide for criminal enforcement, and that a violation of those ordinances <br /> 48 is a class 3 misdemeanor, and a fine from $50-$500.
