Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 23 The following items were noted at the Commissioners' places: <br /> 24 - PowerPoint for item 7-a: 203 Project" Update— Orange County Southern Branch Library <br /> 25 - PowerPoint for item 7-b: Dental Health Services in Southern Orange County Proposal- in <br /> 26 abstract <br /> 27 - PowerPoint for item 7-c: Hurricane Florence Operations Review and Debriefing <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Chair Dorosin asked if the Board would move Item 4-c to be proposed item 8-1 on the <br /> 30 Consent Agenda. <br /> 31 The Board agreed by consensus. <br /> 32 Chair Dorosin said that Commissioner McKee will be late tonight. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> 35 The Chair dispensed with the reading of the public charge. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 ARTS MOMENT- Change in speaker <br /> 38 Arts Commission Board Member Marlon Torres introduced Chris Kubica, who spoke <br /> 39 instead of the originally scheduled Ms. Anthony, who is now unwell: <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Arts Moment <br /> 42 Chris Kubica, a Carrboro resident since 2006, runs a boutique custom software <br /> 43 consultancy by day, and pursues his artistic passions at all other times. He edited the epistolary <br /> 44 collection, LETTERS TO J. D. SALINGER for the University of Wisconsin Press and <br /> 45 subsequently was an Associate Producer for Shane Salerno's feature-length documentary, <br /> 46 SALINGER, which premiered at MOMA in 2013. Locally, Chris is the Vice Chair of the Orange <br /> 47 County Arts Commission Advisory Board. Five years ago, Chris founded an all-high-school <br /> 48 fiction and poetry writing contest in cooperation with the Chapel Hill / Carrboro City School <br /> 49 District. This year, under the official banner of the Orange County Arts Commission, this writing <br /> 50 contest will be expanded Orange countywide. <br />
