The consequences of <br />this position can result in liability of a negligent nature that can lead to the loss of life <br />and property. <br />PERSONAL CONTACTS: Contacts are typically with co-workers, utility company <br />personnel, vendors, municipal and county employees, representatives of public safety <br />agencies, representatives of service and support agencies, and the general public. <br />PURPOSE OF CONTACTS: Contacts are typically to give or exchange information, <br />resolve problems, and provide effective and efficient emergency services. <br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or <br />console, standing, or stooping. The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects <br />and uses equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. <br />WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is typically performed in an office and at times off <br />site at various locations, <br />SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMEN'T' RESPONSIBILITY: This position has direct <br />supervision over Wireless Communications Coordinator (1 ). <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />o Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion <br />of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field. <br />o Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major <br />duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an <br />apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years. <br />1Q <br />o Possession of or within six months ability to obtain a Division of Criminal <br />Information (DCI) certification. <br />
