5 <br /> <br />o $402,249.98 Granted <br />o 114 New Jobs <br />• Loan Fund (From 2009) <br />o 22 Loans Made <br />o $974,848 Loaned <br />• Commercial Businesses Connected to Sewer <br />o Morinaga <br /> <br />Commissioner McKee asked if some of this money was used to connect businesses in <br />Carrboro to the sewer. <br />Steve Brantley, Economic Development Director, said yes; $27,000. <br />Commissioner Price asked if the average grant amount is known, and the number of <br />applicants. <br />Travis Myren said staff will get that information to the Board. <br />Mike Ortosky, Agriculture Economic Developer, said ag grants average about $8000, <br />and have about 20-30% more applicants. <br /> Travis Myren resumed the presentation: <br /> <br />Article 46 Performance Measures (chart: page 9) <br />Incentives Return on Investment <br /> <br />Article 46 Sales Tax Projections (graph: page 10) <br /> <br />Chair Dorosin noted the blue line on page 10, and asked if this referred to the Buckhorn <br />and Hillsborough EDDs only. <br />Travis Myren said it also refers to the Eno EDD. <br />Chair Dorosin asked if water and sewer are planned for the Eno EDD. <br />Travis Myren said yes, a $1.4 million project, but not all of those expenditures have been <br />made yet.
