Hillsborough Area Economic Development District Phase 1 Water and Sewer <br />Extensions – Project Easements and Acquisitions <br />The Board authorized County Staff to acquire the private easements required to construct and <br />maintain the Hillsborough Area Economic Development District (EDD) Phase 1 Water and <br />Sewer Project by negotiation, purchase, or condemnation, if necessary. <br />m. Amendment Outline Form for Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Text <br />Amendments – Update of Effective Date of Flood Information Rate Maps (FIRM) <br />The Board approved process components and schedule for proposed amendments to the <br />Orange County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) updating the effective date for the <br />County’s Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM). <br />n. Orange County Arts Commission – Proposed Change to the Membership- <br />Reclassifying an At-Large Position on the Arts Commission to a Student Liaison <br />Position <br />The Board approved a proposed change in the Arts Commission’s membership roster, <br />reclassifying an At Large Position to a Student Liaison position with a one-year term. <br />o. Ratification of Contract Signature Authority for Emergency Contract <br />The Board ratified the County Manager’s signature on an emergency repair contract executed <br />with the Sasser Companies, Inc. in the amount of $390,849 above the Manager’s signature limit <br />of $250,000. <br />p. Designation of an Acting County Manager During the County Manager’s Temporary <br />Absence <br />The Board approved the County Manager’s appointment of Travis Myren, Deputy County <br />Manager, to serve as Acting County Manager during the County Manager’s temporary absence <br />or disability. <br />q. Fiscal Year 2018-19 Budget Amendment #1 <br />The Board approved budget, capital, and grant project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br />2018-19 to the Health Department; Planning and Inspections; Animal Services; Housing and <br />Community Development; Criminal Justice Resource Department; County Capital Projects; <br />Department of Social Services; Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation; <br />Department on Aging; and Library Services. <br />r. Marketing Communications Management Agreement with FleishmanHillard <br />The Board will consider approving a professional services agreement for tourism marketing and <br />advertising with FleishmanHillard. <br />s. Performance Agreement Between the Town of Chapel Hill and Visitors Bureau <br />The Board will consider approving the 2018-19 performance agreement between the Town of <br />Chapel Hill and the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau. <br />
