Subject to limitations in the Contract Documents, Draper <br />Aden Associates may issue field orders authorizing minor variations in the Work <br />from the requirements of the Contract Documents. <br />f. Recommend change orders and work change directives to Client as appropriate, <br />and prepare change orders and work change directives as required. <br />g.Review Contractor’s applications for payment and, if found to be consistent with <br />the level of work performed, make recommendation to the Owner of payment. <br />h.Produce the necessary project closeout and certification documents necessary to <br />meet the requirements of the local approvals and provide the owner with a record <br />file. Record Documents will be based on field observations and redline as-built <br />drawings provided by the contractor and the observations during the site <br />inspections. DAA shall not have responsibility for acts or omissions of the <br />contractor or subcontractors, their agents or employees, or other persons <br />performing the project construction. <br /> <br />Due to the nature of these activities, DAA will complete these items based upon a time and <br />materials basis per our standard rate schedule. For budgeting purposes, we have included an <br />estimated fee for this task in the schedule below. <br />Deliverables: <br />x Record Drawings as required. <br />x Site Visit and Testing reports from onsite inspections <br />x Recommendations of pay requests from the Contractor <br />x Minutes from Construction Meetings <br />x Change Order and Field Order documents, as necessary, for Owner execution <br />Additional Services: Services that are not included in this proposal consist of, but are not limited <br />to, the following: <br />1.Revisions to the plan requested by CLIENT after first submittal of Design Documents to the <br />local jurisdiction; <br />2.Geotechnical report, testing, pavement design and foundation recommendations except as <br />noted herein; <br />3.Subsurface utility locating services and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services except as <br />indicated herein; <br />4.Conditional letter of map revision (CLOMR), letter of map revision (LOMR); <br />5.Individual 404 Permit and/or mitigation design; <br />6.NCDENR Transportation Facilities Permit; <br />7.Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments; <br />8.Environmental assessments for the presence of wetlands or endangered species. <br />9.Irrigation design; <br />10.Phasing plans.
