Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> PUBLIC CHARGE <br /> The Board of Commissioners pledges its respect to all present. The Board asks those attending this meeting to <br /> conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner toward each other, county staff and the commissioners. <br /> At any time should a member of the Board or the public fail to observe this charge, the Chair will take steps to <br /> restore order and decorum. Should it become impossible to restore order and continue the meeting, the Chair <br /> will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. Please be kind to everyone. <br /> Arts Moment-Anne Anthony is a writer who lives in Chapel Hill. Her prose and poetry have been <br /> published in The North Carolina Literary Review, Poetry South, Prime Magazine, Dead Mule <br /> School for Southern Literature and elsewhere. Her short stories have appeared in several short story <br /> collections. In March of 2018, Anne released an anthology of flash fiction which she edited. The <br /> book, The Collection: Flash Fiction for Flash Memory, includes original fiction by forty-nine <br /> writers, twelve of whom live in North Carolina. The first of its kind, she created the anthology of 60 <br /> short stories between 500 and 750 words to extend the reading life of adults experiencing memory <br /> changes. She dedicated the book to her mother who had been a life-long reader until memory loss <br /> stole her capacity to hold on to the narrative thread. Anne is the former Orange County <br /> representative and a continuing member of the North Carolina Writers' Network. She has most <br /> recently presented a workshop during the group's 2018 Spring Conference in Greensboro. <br /> 2.
