Exhibit A <br /> Scope of Services for <br /> Orange County Schools "Out of School Time" Summer 2018 programs <br /> for the <br /> Family Success Alliance <br /> Purpose: Program support resources for Orange County Schools to provide summer out of <br /> school time services to Family Success Alliance (FSA) students attending New Hope Elementary, <br /> a zone 4 school. <br /> Budget: $75,900 <br /> • $30,360: Summer K-Readiness program for 40 FSA students at a cost of$759 per <br /> student. <br /> • $22,770: Summer Rising 1St graders Literacy Enrichment program for 30 FSA students at <br /> a cost of$759 per student. <br /> • $22,770: Summer Rising 2s'graders Literacy Enrichment program for 30 FSA students at <br /> a cost of$759 per student. <br /> Funds will be usdd to pay teacher salaries and payroll, transportation, curriculum materials and <br /> supplies. <br /> Program Services: <br /> • Recruit and enroll 40 incoming kindergarteners at New Hope Elementary into a summer <br /> kindergartern readiness program. Recruit and enroll 30 rising 1St grade and 20 rising 2nd <br /> grade students into a summer literacy enrichment camp, with a priority for students <br /> who have previously particpated in FSA summer programs. <br /> • Provide a four week program (16 program days) to prepare students to enter school at <br /> grade level using an evidenced-based curriculum and an 8:1 teacher student ratio. <br /> • Provide a program orientation for parents with resources for supporting learning at <br /> home, an evening family Table event during the camp, and an end of program <br /> celebration to include an opportunity for families to enroll in the FSA navigator <br /> program. <br /> • Coordinate with DEAPR staff to allow for an afternoon enrichment componet of the <br /> program. Meet with DEAPR staff prior to the start of the camp to review procedures for <br /> morning to afternoon transition and end of day dismissal. <br /> • Administer standardized academic assessments at the beginning and end of the <br /> program to evaluate the impact of the program and collect intergrated health <br /> assessment data. <br /> 1 <br />
