<br /> During the subject sampling event, the laboratory will:
<br /> • analyze samples obtained from two compliance wells (MW-21S, MW-21D) and two
<br /> nature-and-extent wells (MW-23, MW-24) for the following constituents, as specified in
<br /> the Underground Injection Permit: carbon dioxide, chloride, manganese, mercury,
<br /> potassium, volatile organic compounds listed in NC-DEQ Appendix I
<br /> Task R00592-188N
<br /> Groundwater Sampling Event 48 (Event 2017 S2)
<br /> DAA proposes to conduct groundwater sampling event 48 at the Orange County Regional Landfill
<br /> —North Facility during November, 2017.
<br /> DAA shall coordinate field and laboratory services,obtain groundwater samples,review sampling
<br /> documentation received from groundwater sampling personnel, chemically analyze groundwater
<br /> samples (ENCO), validate analytical data provided by the contracted laboratory,update historical
<br /> summary tables, and prepare a report suitable for direct submission to NC-DEQ.
<br /> During the subject sampling event,the laboratory will:
<br /> ■ analyze samples obtained from twelve compliance wells (6801-MW04, 6801-MW06R,
<br /> 6801-MW07R, 6801-MW14A, 6801-MW14B, 6801-MW15, 6801-MWI6, 6801-MWI7,
<br /> 6801-MW20, 6801-MW21S, 6801-MW21D, 6801-MW22) and two surface water
<br /> locations for the constituents listed in 40 CFR Part 258 Appendix I (15A NCAC 13B
<br /> .1600),plus those constituents listed in Appendix II that have been previously and reliably
<br /> detected at this facility(mercury, naphthalene, sulfide)
<br /> ■ samples shall be obtained from two "nature and extent" monitoring wells (6801-MW23,
<br /> 6801-MW24),and analyzed for the constituents listed in 40 CFR Part 258 Appendix I(15A
<br /> NCAC 13B .1600),plus those constituents listed in Appendix 11 that have been previously
<br /> and reliably detected at this facility (mercury, naphthalene, sulfide)
<br /> ■ samples shall be obtained from four additional wells(6801-MW21 S,6801-MW21D, 6801-
<br /> MW23, 6801-MW24) for chloride and carbon dioxide
<br /> ■ samples shall be obtained from four monitoring wells associated with the groundwater
<br /> remediation injection program (6801-MW21S, 6801-MW21D, 6801-MW23, 6801-
<br /> MW24), and analyzed for the following additional inorganic constituents, in accordance
<br /> with the approved Underground Injection Control permit: manganese,potassium
<br /> ■ samples of surface water shall be obtained from two locations along Old Field Creek, and
<br /> analyzed for the constituents listed in 40 CFR Part 258 Appendix I (15A NCAC 13B
<br /> .1600),plus those constituents listed in Appendix II that have been previously and reliably
<br /> detected at this facility(mercury, naphthalene, sulfide)
