M. <br />SUMMARY <br />The Task Force on the Process for Electing County Commissioners has attempted to <br />address the charge as instructed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners. <br />Specific recommendations are presented in this report regarding how the current system <br />can be changed or improved to address recurring issues of fairness. <br />It is important for this issue to be dealt with in some manner, now, in order for us as a <br />community to move on to other important issues facing the County, Hopefully, this report <br />and the additional information provided in the Appendix to this report will enable the <br />present Board to bring some resolution to this issue.
