The first year that all five commissioners
resided in Chapel Hill Township was 1990. Over the past 38 years there
have been 18 years during which three commissioners resided in Chapel Hill
Township. There have been ten years during which there were two Chapel
Hill Township Commissioners and there have been four years when there have
been four Chapel Hill Township Commissioners and another four years when
only one commissioner resided in Chapel Hill Township.
Chair Carey asked that a letter be sent to the two school boards
requesting a copy of their final budget including how they allocated their
fund balance.
Chair Carey announced that this meeting tonight was scheduled so
that the commissioners could have their questions answered about the
landfill process and the four sites selected for testing. He announced
that if members of the audience have questions that are not answered that
they write them down and give to the Clerk or mail to the County
Commissioners.
