Once a month as a community service <br /> the class bakes dessert for the local Meals on Wheels program. <br /> • Petals with a Purpose class members give back to the community by repurposing items destined <br /> for the landfill like soup cans and glass bottles transforming them into flower vases. Each week <br /> at least 40 vases filled with fresh flowers are donated into the community to places like the <br /> Seymour Senior Center,hospice, St. Joseph's food pantry. <br /> • Community Connections Partner Program matches up an adult with someone who has a <br /> disability. Together they enjoy activities like community outings and form a friendship along the <br /> way. <br /> • HOPE Community Gardens allows our individuals first hand to see how food grows, creates <br /> access to organic food and encourages everyone to use the food from the gardens for healthy <br /> meals at home. <br /> Anticipated Outcomes <br /> The Anticipated Results column must include quantifiable results in the form of number of persons/units served within Orange <br /> County, only (all Towns and municipalities).
