A registered voter could be classified as inactive for several reasons, <br />including relocation outside of Orange County, without notifying the Board of Elections.) <br />One third of the registered voters live in the Orange County School District <br />Two thirds of the registered voters live in the Chapel HilUCarrboro City School District <br />NC House District 50 covers approximately 75% of the area of Orange County <br />NC House District 50 contains approximately .36% of registered Orange County Voters <br />Of the counties in North Carolina, 60% have a board of 5 Commissioners and 25% have <br />aboard of 7 Commissioners. <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners increased from 3 to 5 members in 1954. <br />
