I feel one of my major <br />strengths to this board would be my access to and familiarity with the citizens affordable <br />housing needs to reach. I live in an apartment, I am on the waiting list for a home with <br />the Orange County Housing and Land Ttrust, and I live and work among small families, <br />students, and the members of the blue collar base of Garrboro. I believe I can add a <br />unique and personal perspective to the challenges and potential for making homes <br />affordable in Orange County.
