This proposal outlines our understanding of the project scope, tasks <br /> to be completed, assumptions underlying our fee proposal, and fees for various project tasks. <br /> I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project consists of an existing Metal and White Goods Drop Off located at the Orange County <br /> Regional Landfill, Mulch Storage and Recycling Facility. The current structure is composed of a concrete <br /> slab and poured concrete retaining walls around the perimeter. Based on a site visit performed by Draper <br /> Aden associates, it was observed that the East and West retaining walls appear to be bulging outwards in <br /> locations close to the South side of the structure. <br /> II. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Draper Aden Associates will provide structural engineering repair design for the retaining walls <br /> previously described above. This includes structural analysis, repair design, and standard details to <br /> accompany the repair specifications. Drawings are to be in Auto Cad format and presented to the client in <br /> PDF form. Structural specifications are to be short-form specifications included on project drawings. <br /> Draper Aden Associates will provide structural drawings, details and specifications for incorporation <br /> into contract documents. <br /> Draper Aden Associates will provide construction phase services, including review of structural <br /> submittals and shop drawings and response to contractor requests for information (RFI's).
