Engineering Surveying Environmental Services <br />Draper Aden Associates <br />Section Two <br />Experience <br />6 <br />• Leachate Monitoring Program <br />• Voluntary Residential Monitoring Program <br />Orange County Regional Landfill: Active C&D Facility <br />• Semiannual Groundwater Monitoring Program <br />Convenience Center Design <br />After a previous design of the Eubanks Road Waste and Recycling Center was found to meet the project budget <br />requirements, Draper Aden Associates was contracted to redesign the project to lower the overall construction <br />costs. Draper Aden Associates completed the design and permitting of the full service waste and recycling <br />center that could see up to 800+ customers in a single day. The facility design included relocation of the current <br />landfill scales and scale operator building, full recycling services, household hazardous waste, swap shop, and <br />disposal for all types of customer waste. Project was bid in October 2016 and is slated for construction in early <br />2017. DAA will administer the contract and be responsible for construction management and inspections. <br />Storage and Support Facilities <br />Draper Aden Associates provided design, permitting, and <br />construction management for the new Recycling Bin Storage <br />and Assembly building at the Solid Waste Department office <br />complex on Eubanks Road. This building was constructed to <br />allow staff a place to receive, assemble and store residential <br />recycling bins until they could be dispersed to a customer. <br />Project was completed in early 2016. <br />Our project approach and understanding regarding each of <br />these programs is provided at the end of this proposal. <br />Watauga County Landfill <br />Watauga County, North Carolina <br />Master Planning <br />Master planning for the existing County landfill, as well as <br />permit design for its expansion was performed.
