Engineering Surveying Environmental Services
Draper Aden Associates
Section One
Firm Overview
4
Subconsultants
Communities and businesses across the country are increasingly trying to find
solutions to effectively manage the repetitive tide of solid waste. Gershman,
Brickner & Bratton, Inc. (GBB) has been on the front lines as a solid waste
management consulting firm since 1980, planning and implementing integrated
waste management programs designed to provide cost-effective services, protect
the environment, and sustain our natural resources.
Using past projects as a guide, GBB carefully analyzes current and future demands
to customize a solid waste management program that fits each client’s unique
social, economic, environmental, and political context. While clients’ specific needs
may vary, GBB typically designs integrated management systems that may include
waste prevention, reuse, recycling, composting, waste-to-energy, and landfilling.
Our commitment to excellence, the highest quality work products, and years of proven experience offer our
clients the best results. When making recommendations, GBB maintains its objectivity by avoiding situations
that could create a conflict of interest. GBB is independent of technology, financing, construction, and
operational interests. We have earned our solid reputation by understanding our clients’ needs, and working
hard to achieve their goals.
Coker Composting & Consulting (CC&C) was founded by Craig Coker
in 2005 to give composters and others access to qualified professional
consulting assistance at affordable prices. CC&C is a one-person sole
proprietorship consulting firm, which has the benefit of low overhead
rates. CC&C can handle a wide variety of specialized projects for the
organics recycling industry, including: site evaluations, business and facility
planning, design, construction management, design and conduct pilot tests,
equipment alternatives evaluations, facility operations manuals, start-up support and operator training, and
product marketing and sales support. Prior to the start-up of CC&C, Mr. Coker developed expansion business
plans for a large regional industrial composting company and developed business plans for his own composting
company.
CC&C has conducted several projects in the area of organic solid wastes recycling for municipalities and solid
waste authorities. These projects have included feasibility studies, process designs, permitting documents (air,
waste and water), operational plans, employee training sessions, and product marketing and sales plans. For
private-sector clients (including himself), Mr. Coker has also assembled several composting business plans in
support of capitalization requests. Mr. Coker has a strong background in municipal waste management, having
worked for a large county in a suburb of Washington, D.C. where he worked on projects involving solid waste
balefilling and incineration, wastewater treatment and sludge composting.
DocuSign Envelope ID: 09434BEC-1F7E-41E5-A9D1-4CA5D7ECE339DocuSign Envelope ID: 41BC5C93-0D4F-4535-B939-248B032E3585
