1 <br /> <br />Department of Health and Human Services <br />Division of Aging and Adult Services <br />Orange County NC Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee <br />Thursday, July 19, 2018 <br /> <br />Meeting convened: <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 3:40 PM at the Passmore Senior Center in Hillsborough, NC by Chairman, Max <br />Mason. <br /> <br />Attendance: <br /> <br />Attendees: <br />Max Mason, Chair <br />Gloria Brown, Co-Secretary <br />William “Will” Lang, Member <br />Tiketha Collins, New Member <br />Nancy McCormick, New Member <br />Annie Deaver, New Director for Orange County Department on Aging <br />Absent: <br />Autum Cox (leave) <br />Pam Palmer <br />Michael Zuber <br />Yvonne Mendenhall <br /> <br />M. Mason stated that he appreciated everyone for letting the committee know that they would be unable to attend. <br />All absences are excused. <br /> <br />New Member Welcome: <br /> <br />M. Mason stated that we have a formal written welcome to Tiketha Collins and Nancy ____. I think Gloria and Will <br />agree they're great additions to the CAC. Gloria and Will agreed. <br /> <br />M. Mason extended a “welcome” to Annie Deaver, whom I know is going to very ably build on Mary Frazier's <br />contributions to the Orange County Department on Aging <br />A. Deaver stated that she is excited to be in Orange County and looks forward to working with this committee and <br />learn more around seniors in Orange County. <br /> <br />All attendees introduced themselves.
