Autumn reminded the committee that there are still three open posts on the Committee to
bring us to full size. She shared flyers we can use to recruit additional members.
10. Meeting then switched from public to closed.
11. Site Visit Reports were presented:
a. Crescent Green, by Yvonne Mendenhall
b. Carol Woods by Michael Zuber
c. Brookdale jointly presented by Yvonne and Michael
12. All reports were approved with minor edits
13. Autumn reminded the committee that quarterly site visit reports are due when the visit is
completed and should be emailed to the Committee Chair and Ombudsman at that time.
It will help meeting planning and efficiency to send the reports earlier in the quarter.
14. Quarterly activity reports are due (for April, May and June 2018) by July 5. Those
should be sent to Autumn.
15. Autumn will be on maternity and parental leave around July 1 but will manage the
reports we send to Ombudsman for her temporary replacement.
16. Temporary Ombudsman for Orange County will be Pam Palmer, Durham County
Ombudsman.
17. Next meeting will be July 19, 2018 3:30 PM at the Passmore Center.
18. A thank you was presented from Orange County to each committee member for
Volunteer appreciation, and a card was signed and presented to Mary Fraser for her
outstanding service to Orange County Department on Aging, and congratulation and
good wishes were shared with Autumn Cox to welcome her new baby.
19.
