Were residents asked their preferences or opinions <br /> about the activities planned for them at the facility? <br />Yes <br />15a: The hall, where the monthly activity <br />calendar used to be posted, is being painted so <br />information is not posted during visit. The <br />Activity Director shared that a monthly <br />activity calendar is not posted as she prefers to <br />use a weekly calendar so changes in the <br />scheduled activities can be made easily during <br />the month. The weekly calendar is printed and <br />distributed to each resident. During our visit, <br />some residents had the calendars for the week <br />in their hands. The Activity Director also <br />shared that the residents are encouraged to <br />provide feedback about the activities. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />17: Most residents were aware of the food <br />choices they have. One resident stated that no <br />alternative was offered when meal was <br />rejected. This was brought up to the <br />Administrator and she explained that there are <br />alternative meal options and that these are <br />offered routinely when a resident requests <br />another meal. <br />17a: Residents who can feed themselves may <br />eat in one of two dining rooms or may eat in <br />their rooms.
