Do the residents appear neat, clean and odor free? yes 2.One resident remarked that staff consistently <br />go out of their way to meet needs. <br />4. A resident and his adult son who was visiting <br />expressed satisfaction with care and could think <br />of nothing that needed to be improved. Several <br />residents were observed receiving one-on-one <br />service (e.g. physical therapy) with staff. <br />A C.N.A. commented how she loved working at <br />Carol Woods and serving residents. She <br />appreciated having a consistent assignment so <br />she could get to know individuals and mentioned <br />the same person usually covered on her days off. <br />She felt her ideas were valued. <br />5a. All staff wear name badges and a photo and <br />name of staff is posted in each area. It was <br />mentioned that efforts are made to meet resident <br />preferences regarding bathing (time of day and <br />frequency). <br />13. and 14. A resident remarked that bells were <br />responded to in a timely manner. A staff member <br />was observed responding to a bell as soon as it <br />was activated. <br /> 9.
