Does the facility have
needs that the committee or community could help
address?
The committee met with Doris Coleman,
Administrator, briefly at the beginning and more
extensively at end of the visit. Doris and the facility
were initially busy due to the presence of First
Responders attending to a resident.
High praise goes to Ms. Coleman for her quick
handling of the lack of a cook. She just rolls up her
sleeves and does whatever is necessary to keep things
running smoothly.
As a follow up to the previous issue to nighttime
monitoring Ms. Coleman again confirmed that rounds
are routinely conducted and urinals are being
emptied. She shares that some residents urinate more
than others.
To manage the previous bedbug issue, a non-toxic
chemical is now being used routinely and this process
seems to be effective.
When asked about the security of personal items, Ms.
Coleman shared that they have cameras (12) located
in all the public areas that shows up on a monitor,
Films can be reviewed for any reported issues by date
and time. Activities inside of rooms are not recorded.
