There were no activities <br />during the visit but the daily <br />calendar was posted. One resident <br />indicated she was busy all the time. <br />Work/activity sheets are passed out <br />on Fridays so residents can be busy <br />on the weekend. They do have to <br />provide their own markers or pens. <br />A new resident was excited that she <br />would be able to teach others how <br />to knit and crochet, though the <br />facility will not be able to provide <br />yarn. She had many art/craft <br />projects in her room encouraged by <br />the activities director <br />17. It was an exceptional day as the <br />cook had recently resigned and <br />Doris Coleman was personally <br />working to ensure dinner was <br />made.
