Residents appeared clean and there <br />were no urine odors on any that were <br />spoken to. <br />3. One resident only took a few <br />minutes to chat as she wanted to join a <br />gathering of other residents for a visit. <br />4. Most of the staff was involved with <br />a resident suffering from a medical <br />event. Fire Department personnel <br />were tending to the resident in a front <br />living room. <br />5. During the exit interview (held in <br />the dining room) a resident came and <br />sat at our table. The administrator <br />graciously asked him if he would sit <br />somewhere else to allow us privacy. <br />The resident appeared to have mental <br />and verbal limitations. Although his <br />speech was garbled, Doris was able to <br />understand that he did not wish to <br />move, so we relocated. Her interaction <br />with this resident showed patience and <br />understanding. <br /> <br />5a. None of the staff members had <br />name tags. <br />2. Did residents say they receive assistance with personal care <br />activities? (i.e. brushing their teeth, combing their hair, <br />inserting dentures or cleaning their eyeglasses) <br />N/A <br />3.
