Yes 1-Most residents observed and <br />interviewed were neat, tidy and odor <br />free. <br /> <br />2-5. Less staff interaction was noted at <br />this visit than at recent visits, possibly <br />related to the shift change and staff <br />meeting. Most staff interaction seems <br />to be related to care tasks. <br /> <br />At our site visit, talking with residents <br />was difficult due to some residents’ <br />cognitive and communication <br />challenges. <br /> <br />2. Although it was not described as <br />homelike, residents said their rooms <br />were fine and they had what they <br />needed. <br />9. The exit area of the 200 wing had <br />a notable odor of feces. We were told <br />the shift change was underway and <br />staff routinely take care of incontinent <br />tasks as needed and at shift changes.
