Yes 1) Residents were well dressed, and groomed. <br />2) Positive replies regarding interactions and <br />assistance from staff. One resident with a <br />leg brace and cane said he staff is always <br />available when assistance is needed. <br />3-5) In memory care residents were <br />encouraged to be engaged in care and <br />program and interacting with staff and <br />visitors despite communication <br />differences <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. Did residents describe their living environment as homelike? Yes 8) A couple, new, residents, and their daughter <br />stated they were very happy. After research into <br />the program and said Brookdale Meadowmont <br />is a great environment. Likewise, a woman on <br />the porch said her son investigated Al programs <br />throughout the region and liked Brookdale best. <br />She is very happy. <br /> Something not noted before at Brookdale <br />Meadowmont is pets. Two dogs now live in the <br />facility with owners. A small “dog park”—a <br />cleared area with a bench and puppy poo station <br />is available for easy walking and “poop bags.” <br /> <br /> <br /> 9. Did you notice unpleasant odors? No <br />10.
