Select leaders will also receive support in understanding how to replicate <br /> the process in other strategic planning efforts within the department. In addition, <br /> participants will understand the importance of population and client results being <br /> achieved through community engagement. <br /> EXPECTED OUTCOMES <br /> • Orange County Department of Health understands and has implemented <br /> RBA's Turn the Curve for use in results based strategic planning <br /> • selected community results and headline community indicators <br /> • developed the qualitative story behind the data for selected indicators <br /> • identified community partners with a role to play in improving the data <br /> • identified potential strategies, including evidenced based strategies <br /> addressing the root causes <br /> • developed a preliminary strategies for OCHD strategic action plan <br /> • understand how to develop headline program performance measures <br /> • Leadership Team members understand the distinction between population <br /> and performance accountability <br /> • Leadership team members understand how to apply results based strategic <br /> planning to the development of departmental plans <br /> OBJECTIVES <br /> • OCHD leadership has the tools and capacity to develop a departmental <br /> results based strategic plan <br /> • OCHD staff understand the distinctions between population and performance <br /> accountability and have applied this understanding to the planning process <br /> for OCHD planning, Racial Equity Strategic Planning and other planning <br /> efforts <br /> SCHEDULE The proposed timeline for the project is September to December 2018, <br /> tentatively set to begin either 9/24 or 9/25 and second session on 10/1 or 10/2. Future <br /> session dates to be determined by both parties. <br />
