McAdams Company, Inc., <br />(hereinafterreferredtoas"Provider"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THATWHEREAS,theCounty andProviderenteredintoacontractdated <br />May 2, 2017 (internally designated as Sand 2017-161-Eand otherwise titled <br />as HBO EDD, Ph. 1 W&S), fortheprovisionof engineering design through bid <br />servicestotheCounty(hereinafterthe"OriginalAgreement");and <br />WHEREAS,theCounty andProviderenteredintoaContract Amendment <br />datedJune 1,2018 (internally designated as and 2018-200-Eand otherwise <br />titled as Contract Amendment #1), fortheprovisionof additional geotechnical <br />investigation servicestotheCounty(hereinafter referred to as “Amendment #1); <br />and <br />WHEREAS,theCountyandProviderdesiretomodifytheOriginalAgreement <br />whilekeepingineffectalltermsandconditionsoftheOriginalAgreementnot <br />inconsistentwiththetermsandconditionssetforthbelow. <br />NOWTHEREFORE,for andinconsiderationfor themutualcovenantsand <br />agreementsmadeintheOriginalAgreementandherein,thepartiesagreeto <br />amendtheOriginalAgreementasfollows: <br />1.The Scope of Work and Basic Services shall be expanded to include all of <br />“Additional Cost Opinion for Updated Construction Drawings”as described in <br />Attachment C. <br />2.The work included in Attachment Cshall have a milestone date of <br />September 24, 2018 and will include delivery to the County of acomplete <br />andacceptableupdated cost opinion reflecting the current bidding <br />environment and known existing rock conditions. <br />3.The additional work shall not alter the existing milestone dates or <br />compensation for tasks listed in the Original Agreement.
