required match is provided through funds already included within Departmental and Outside <br />Agency operating budgets. <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is applicable to <br />this item: <br />• GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF - SUFFICIENCY <br />The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding necessary <br />for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for themselves and their <br />dependents. <br />The HCCBG funding supports meals and other activities as well as transportation to the Senior <br />Centers; information and case assistance, in -home services, and adult day health care. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant Funding Plan for FY 2018 -19 in the amount of $661,125 and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the grant documents. <br />
