<br /> Comprehensive Review of <br /> S olid W aste Collection and Disposal Options <br /> <br /> <br />v2.1 31 10/22/12 <br />2.4.7 Development Review/Solid Waste Permitting <br />Orange County Solid Waste participates in the Town’s development review process. The <br />County reviews all plans and specifications with regard to site plan review, recommendations for <br />solid waste permit approvals, solid waste plan evaluation, adequacy of recycling infrastructure, <br />service access, deconstruction/demolition minimizing waste during construction, use/reuse of <br />recycled content materials in construction, adherence to Regulated Recyclable Materials <br />Ordinance (RRMO), ensuring compliance with Solid Waste design standards, etc. <br /> <br />2.4.8 Enforcement <br />The County staff assists Town staff in the enforcement of both state- mandated and local RRMO <br />related landfill bans as well as enforcement at the point of disposal. Enforcement support for <br />illegal dumping and improper use of recycling sites/containers within the Town is also provided.
