Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee – Appointment <br />The Board considered making an appointment to the Adult Care Home Community <br />Advisory Committee. <br />Chair Dorosin said it looks like 50% of this board is vacant. <br />Donna Baker said the board said it is working on this. <br />Chair Dorosin asked if anyone is in training. <br />Donna Baker said she does not know. <br />Chair Dorosin asked if there is a minimum amount of board seats that need to be filled. <br />Donna Baker and John Roberts said they did not know. <br />Chair Dorosin said maybe this board is too big. <br />Commissioner Price said this group meets at 3pm in the afternoon, which can be difficult <br />for some. <br />Chair Dorosin perhaps this can be revisited in the fall, as it is troubling to see a board <br />that is half vacant. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jacobs, seconded by Commissioner Rich to <br />appoint the following to the ACHCAC: <br /> <br />• Reappointment to an additional term (Position #8) “At-Large” position for Gloria <br />Brown, MSW expiring 06/30/2020. <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br /> <br />b. Agricultural Preservation Board (APB) – Appointments <br />The Board considered making appointments to the Agricultural Preservation Board <br />(APB). <br /> <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br />appoint the following to the APB: <br /> <br />• Reappointment to an additional term (Position #5) “Schley/Eno Volunteer Ag. Dist.” <br />representative for Nels Anderson expiring 06/30/2021. <br />• Reappointment to an additional term (Position #8) “At-Large” representative for Richal <br />Vanhook expiring 06/30/2021. <br />• Reappointment to an additional term (Position #11) “At-Large” representative for Kathy <br />Shambley expiring 06/30/2021. <br />• Reappointment to an additional term (Position #15) “At-Large” representative for Ken <br />Dawson expiring 06/30/2021. <br />• Extension Reappointment of one year (Position #14) “At-Large” for Ashley Parker <br />expiring 06/30/2019. (Extension of a term, is at the BOCC discretion provided for in <br />the “ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMISSIONERS ADVISORY BOARD <br />POLICY, Section III, Item D6. REFER TO RECOMMENDATION MEMO). <br /> <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> <br />c. Alcoholic Beverage Control Board – Appointments <br />The Board considered making appointments to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
