DA Ben David working on legislation where if John Doe has been in <br />prison for X years and has pending charges, he works with the courts to <br />try to get those charges removed. Defining clear roles and responsibilities <br />a. This has caused local reentry councils to fall apart <br />2. Developing effective lines of communication <br />a. Some have Facebook pages- Keep the people UPDATED. <br />3. Identifying a strong fiscal agent (Intermediary Agency) <br />a. Have them do a strong presentation. <br />b. This is a point grading system. <br />c. This must be the strongest network in your network. <br />4. Develop and deliver seamless reentry services <br />a. The IA must understand human services and case management. <br />b. Build self-sufficiency. <br />i. Do not depend on governmental funding and grants. <br />5. Decide on single county v. multi-county approach <br />6. Develop a plan for sustainability funding <br />a. Utilize tracking system <br />7. Developing partnerships in the areas of Employment, Housing and <br />Transportation
