<br />This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds in FY2017-18. <br />(See Attachment 1, column 6) <br /> <br />SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goals are <br />applicable to these items: <br />• GOAL: CREATE A SAFE COMMUNITY <br />The reduction of risks from vehicle/traffic accidents, childhood and senior injuries, <br />gang activity, substance abuse and domestic violence. <br /> <br /> <br />Social Services – Technical Amendment <br /> <br />13. This technical amendment provides for the transfer of budgeted funds related to <br />Information Technology Governance Council prior approved projects from the Capital <br />Projects Fund to the Department of Social Services within the General Fund in order to <br />simplify the cost allocation process and reimbursement process for the department. The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) has <br />deferred revenue/in-flows for the following programs: <br /> <br />• NC Matching Grant – As of June 30, 2018, the department has $4,567 in <br />deferred revenue/in-flows, for use in FY 2018-19, related to the Soil and Water <br />division’s NC Matching Grant, Matching funds are used for office and educational <br />supplies, staff training and certification costs and award sponsorship. <br />7
